F. Lawrence "Larry" Taylor, Jr. is a native of Washington State, born and raised in Spokane and has lived in both Eastern and Western Washing most of his life. He graduated from Gonzaga Prep High School in Spokane with an Honors Classical degree. He attended Seattle University as a member of the Honors Program and graduated with a degree in U.S. History. He attended Law School at Loyola University of Chicago, where he graduated near the top of his class and was awarded several American Jurisprudence Awards.

He practiced law in Spokane from 1971 until 2002, with a brief practice in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1977-1979. In June of 2002 he moved his practice to the Seattle area where he has operated THE TAYLOR LAW FIRM since then. His offices are currently located in Kent, Washington.

Since 2002 he has practiced almost exclusively in the area of Personal Injury Law, helping average people recover damages for injuries they suffered due to the carelessness of other people and corporations. These cases include such things as automobile crashes, dog bites, slips and falls, adulterated foods, and claims against insurance companies.

Larry is admitted to practice before all courts in the state of Washington including the Washington Supreme Court, the Superior and county courts of all 369 counties, and the Federal district Courts in both Eastern and Western Washington. He is admitted to the Ninth Federal Circuit Court of Appeals which includes Washington. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court as well as numerous other federal courts in Washington, D.C. and around the country. Larry has tried cases in at least eighteen Washington counties as well as Idaho, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
